I’m an imposter. One day someone will realise and soon after everyone else will see it. My writing is poor and what I have to say is better said by other people. I really know very little about technology and I have nothing to share that would improve anyone’s experience. Just watch the average tech YouTuber, you’ll learn so much more.
As a Christian, I believe it’s my mission to help bring salt and light into the world. This, for me, very much includes social media and the internet to which it is inextricably connected. I’m not just talking about those feel-good statements we see a lot. I actually want to engage people where they are at, and most of them are online it seems, well over 59% of the global population - which is an astonishing figure.
If you’ll let me, I’d like a few minutes of your time to talk about George Floyd, what his death represents and what we, as Christians, should do in response. If you haven’t been watching the news recently, George was an unarmed black man who died after a Minneapolis police officer kneeled on his neck for more than eight minutes as he told them “I can’t breathe”.
