When Mary and Joseph had completed everything required of them by the law of Moses, they took Jesus and returned to their home in Nazareth in Galilee. The child grew more powerful in grace, for he was being filled with wisdom, and the favour of God was upon him. (Luke 2:39-40)
What do you have grace for? Over the past year this question has cropped up so regularly that I believe God is clearly trying to point something out. I think of late I’m beginning to find the answer to the question.
When we have grace for something, that something is a joy to do, it brings us satisfaction and a feeling of accomplishment. It doesn’t mean we don’t have to work hard and devote time to it but when you discover you have the grace for something, “your burden is easy and the yolk is light.”
